A desert island, deserted island, or uninhabited island, is an island, islet or atoll that is not permanently populated by humans. The ability to take on odd jobs around the island instead of getting a regular job, which is sweet. The part work from home/part rabbithole conversationist career, which is pretty cool.New big things in Island Living to make up for everything not included from Island Paradise: Swimming in open bodies of water in any world.Hidden islands that we had to discover on our own.An active Lifeguard career versus the rabbit hole part time job in Island Living.More boats than we get in Island Living.Resorts, which you could either stay at or run as a business, and they’re not in Island Living in either aspect.Scuba diving, which was really cool, and it’s not in Island Living aside from being a rabbit hole. Not only when looking at it in terms of Sims 4 packs, but especially when comparing it to Island Paradise in Sims 3. There are also three subway stations to let sims with no cars travel faster. The Kava festival and island spirits aspect that I haven’t explored yet. The map is roughly divided into an old town area, industrial district and uneventful suburban area, all are connected with roads. It just feels more like a Jungle Adventures/Outdoor Retreat game pack versus an expansion pack like Seasons or City Living. There’s just nothing grand about it to make it stand out.
