![]() ![]() ![]() Laser tanks suck ass against infantry though, so either move them slowly with Pathfinders in the group or, throw in a few humvees (4 rocket men + 1 Pathfinder inside). I don't like those furious mobs!PS who thinks the Laser General sucks? I'm not sure what I meant by that notches in bedposts comment. I prefer to fight chinese tanks as they are most weak against the EMP Patriot/Firebase/missile-man combo. Only agains him, and he is a pain in the butt I think like all GLA. Still there are many more maps to try.I never thought of the GLA Stealth general as 'useless' but then I've never played stealth general either. Well it's not hard to know where the enemy base is since you set where it goes - View image here: -I missed out on RA/2 (shame!) but I'm not much of an RTS player, this and the original C&C being the exceptions (and Perimeter, but that's another story) so DNL2BA was almost correct in his perception - View image here: - I think human 'A'I is much better it's very true. Will there ever be? Oh yeah and death to EA Games!!!!!! Oh how I mean that! "EA Games: FuckUp Everything" - grrrrrrrr - View image here: - worse than that 'way it's meant to be played' crap from nTi, or was it aVidia? Bah! Grunf!! Blechhh!!! is a late-night rant brought to you by a tired and slightly drnka doomylord! This is DEFINITELY a bug (or a secret enemy AI trick?)* yet no patch for it yet. And I'm sure AI isn't meant to be predictable, that's the point, right? So how come, surprise surprise, there's always a knot of AA defenses in the middle of every map (if you let it build them)? Sure it's a good tactic to stop the 'call in' air strikes (I like to play USA - View image here: - ) but, well, where's the variety? And whilst I'm at it, I'm fed up with this game degenerating into a slideshow so often. When those defenses endlessly shred the attacking hordes, does the AI seek a new path, or try a different tactic? No. On another map, I forget the name, it just sends an endless stream of men and tanks against your base defenses. Nor does it make more than one command centre it seems, or rebuild its base much if you start hammering it. Seemed like pretty good fun, which it was in a way, but what I've found is that no matter how rich a map is with resources (such as the ridiculous Death Valley the enemy AI ONLY builds one or two superweapons at a time, and if you blow them up, he doesn't build any more. So my brother and I've been playing some co-op against 'Hard Armies' in C&C Generals. ![]()
